The signature verification system (SVS) is a companion system for core banking application (which mostly consists of text-based applications) that is intended to provide front-end tellers and customer services with graphical information (photograph and signature) of customers.

The SVS application has standard modules such as: connection to core banking data, SVS-side data maintenance, scanning and update images, replication (using distributed database architecture), and inquiry either CIF-based or account-based.

The replication and distributed database feature is developed using host-to-host messaging system, making it compatible across various RDBMS platforms.

It also complies with standard security and performance requirements such as encryption, compression, multi-group user management and password cycles.

Two versions of the SVS are available: thin client version and web version. Both of versions use the same code at binary level.
